MG3650 is a dual rate burst mode transimpedance amplifier (TIA) with reset and data rate selection. When the part is operating in burst mode, its typical bandwidth (or data rate) can be changed between 9GHz (10Gbps) and 3GHz (2.5Gbps) with external rate select signal. With an appropriate APD detector, its optical sensitivity can be as high as -25dBm (10Gb/s BER 10-12) and its overload tolerance can be greater than 2mApp. MG3650 consumes modest power of 38mA typical. MG3650 can work with MG3750 and is compatible with any other burst mode limiting amplifier.
